Life Coaching for Teens and Young Adults
Like therapy, but different
with Ashley Jangro, M.Ed. and Certified Life Coach

Through coaching, your teen or young adult will learn invaluable tools that will continue to serve them the rest of their life.
Emotion Management
The ability to manage our emotions is like a super power. Once we aren't afraid to feel anything, we can do anything. The first tool your teen or young adult will learn is to regulate their emotions and calm their nervous system.
Create a Desireable Future
From procrastination to overwhelm to lack of motivation, many obstacles get in the way of teens or young adults creating the future they want. Through coaching, your teen will address these obstacles and be armed with strategies to design a future worth being excited about.
The perfect time frame

Frequently Asked Questions
How is coaching different than therapy?
Coaching is very similar to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but is for those who are functioning (rather than non-functioning) and who want to take their life to the next level. It is future focused, solution-oriented, and non-diagnostic.
Can you help my child even if they have a diagnosis?
I have a background working with children with ADHD and Autism. I specialize in helping teens and young adults with depression and anxiety, though if their diagnosis affects their ability to function, we will discuss prior to beginning coaching.
How often do you meet and what are the sessions like?
Your child and I will meet once a week for an hour via zoom for a set amount of time, typically 3 or 6 months. My schedule is flexible, as I know the lives of teens and young adults are full and constantly changing!
Is there any way for parents to be involved?
Absolutely! Though I honor your child’s privacy (with a couple of exceptions that we will cover during our first session), I love when parents want to be involved. I offer a series of six pre-recorded classes to parents so you can learn the tools that your child is learning as well.
